Morning flight from Arusha to the North Serengeti, followed by your first river crossing game drive.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to the Kogatende airstrip in the Northern Serengeti. This scenic flight saves you a full day of driving and delivers you directly into the heart of the Great Migration action.

Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip. You will immediately begin a game drive along the banks of the Mara River, scanning the waters for crocodiles and the banks for gathering wildebeest herds. Today is entirely focused on the Mara River. The wildebeest crossings are a game of patience and timing. Your experienced guide will monitor the herds, predicting where the buildup is most intense. When the tension breaks and the first animal leaps into the water, you will witness one of nature's most intense spectacles.

Even between crossings, the Northern Serengeti is incredibly dynamic. Big cats patrol the riverbanks taking advantage of the chaos, and massive crocodiles await in the murky waters. Return to Malaika Mara River Luxury Camp in the evening for exquisite dining and recounting the day's events under the stars.

Second full day Mara River Safari

Another full day in the pristine wilderness of the Northern Serengeti.

Because the herds are unpredictable, having a third night in the North is the ultimate luxury of time. If you have already witnessed a crossing, today allows you to explore deeper into the Lamai Wedge or the sprawling kopjes of the north, looking for elusive leopards, cheetahs, and massive lion prides.

Enjoy a beautiful picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti, before continuing your game drive. Your final night in the north is spent enjoying the impeccable service and comfort at Malaika Mara River Luxury Camp.

A scenic game drive heading south through the heart of the Serengeti to the Seronera region.

After breakfast, you bid farewell to the Mara River and begin a sweeping game drive southward into the Central Serengeti (Seronera). The landscape shifts from the rolling hills of the north to the classic, endless savanna plains dotted with iconic acacia trees.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular finale, followed by your onward transfer.

After an early breakfast, you will descend 600 meters down into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This incredibly concentrated ecosystem is home to nearly 30,000 animals, including lions, elephants, hippos, and if you are lucky, the highly endangered black rhino.

After an awe-inspiring half-day game drive and a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you will ascend the crater walls and begin the drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or your Arusha hotel in time for your onward arrangements, marking the end of your luxury migration safari.
